Its intimate Main Room, restaurant, and bar create a lively setting for a themed daytime event, while the surrounding Melrose neighborhood offers plenty of options for a pre- or post-show meal. Venue and Seating Information
The Main Room at Hollywood Improv seats approximately 200 guests at tables and chairs arranged toward the stage. The club's compact layout keeps the performance close, and center tables are the strongest choice for a direct view and an immersive experience. Far-side tables may have more angled sightlines. Bar seating is available, but views from that area can be limited depending on the event setup.
The venue is located at 8162 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046, and includes full food and drink service. A two-drink minimum typically applies to most shows, though event-specific policies may differ. Confirm age restrictions and any brunch service details before attending.
Parking Information
Hollywood Improv does not have on-site parking. Nearby street spaces and paid lots are available, but Melrose-area parking can be competitive, so arriving early or reserving a space in advance can make arrival easier.
- 666 N Kilkea Dr Lot: 666 N Kilkea Dr, Los Angeles, CA. The closest listed off-street option; estimated parking is $5–$15.
- Street parking: Look along Melrose Avenue and nearby side streets. Rates and evening availability vary by block; check posted signs for restrictions.
- Nearby app-booked garages: SpotHero or ParkWhiz listings within roughly 0.1–0.3 miles may offer advance reservations; estimated prices are $8–$20.
Rideshare is another convenient option, with pickup and drop-off on Melrose Avenue. If driving, avoid relying on an unverified curbside space at the last minute and check current parking rules before leaving your vehicle.
